Expert Satellite Hires Gearon Hoffman
Expert Satellite, a Worcester, MA, provider of DirecTV products and services, appointed Gearon Hoffman, Boston, as its first advertising agency.The shop competed with several Boston-area rivals for the account, whose billings are estimated at $1 million to $2 million in the first year.
Gearon Hoffman will create a national television campaign breaking in March, with media planning and buying responsibilities, too. The agency also will run online advertising and direct marketing programs for Expert Satellite.
With more than $70 million in billings, Gearon Hoffman's clients include Boston's Museum of Science, Scottrade Financial Services, Harpoon Brewing, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Compass Bank, Private Healthcare Systems and CGM Mutual Funds.
