Experience marketing agency expands, plans NYC hires

Portland, OR-based agency Taow Productions opened its second office on May 8 with the appointment of former Euro RSCG account director Karyn LeSuer.

LeSuer joins the 12-person agency with the directive to lead the East Coast operations from New York City to help expand business and support the agency's global clients.

“Opening up a site in New York after five years of just operating out of Portland seemed like an amazing opportunity to scoop up some of the talent others are shedding,” Taow founder B. Scott Taylor explained.

Taylor said the company plans to make four or five additional hires by the end of the year. The company's clients include Adidas, Nike and Red Bull.

Taylor credited the company's recent expansion to the agency's traditionally small size and operational flexibility as well as its willingness to experiment with new technologies.

“This industry has always been rife with buzz words like ROI and brand lift impression, but now [among clients] there's a concern of, ‘How are we going to more with less?'” Taylor said. “My background is as an entrepreneur and having to be more resourceful.”
