Experian Revamps National Business Database

NEW ORLEANS -- Experian announced the relaunch today of its National Business Database of more than 16 million U.S. businesses.

The announcement came here at the Direct Marketing Association's 87th Annual Conference & Exhibition.

The updated version of the business-to-business database has a new architecture and a redesigned data structure as well as new search and match technology.

The new database offers users better targeting through enhanced data quality and more than 150 demographic and credit data fields, according to Experian, Costa Mesa, CA. The firm also assigned business identification numbers to the file for more efficient data management and accuracy.

And Experian incorporated its Commercial Intelliscore and new Market Intelliscore products, which predict the likelihood of a business going 90 days beyond payment term, into the database.

The database is updated monthly.
