Experian Offers Real-Time CDI via Truvue

Experian, an information solutions provider, said yesterday that its Truvue customer data integration technology now allows instant access to Experian's continuously updated national reference database.


This access previously was available only as a custom feature. Truvue cleans and integrates customer information from disparate sources across a company's organization to achieve a single view of each customer.


According to Experian, Orange, CA, adding the ability for real-time content exchange lets companies enhance internal data with the updated customer information from Experian's reference database. Companies also can instantly link current transaction data with historic information, verify and correct customer and prospect identification data directly at the point of customer interaction and personalize offers instantly while the prospect or customer is talking with a company representative or shopping on the Web.


Truvue applies data-cleansing procedures at the initial point of data entry, preventing inaccurate data from polluting a company's database. As a customer service associate keys in new data, for instance, that information is verified by immediately referencing the Experian database. The verified information then is introduced into a company's database systems.
