Excite@Home to Buy Bluemountain.com
Global media company Excite@Home, Redwood City, CA, is gearing up to buy Bluemountain.com, Boulder, CO, the arts publishing company famous for its greeting cards.Under terms of the agreement, Excite@Home will issue about 11 million shares valued at about $430 million and $350 million in cash. The company also will assume all outstanding employee options. The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year.
