Excite@Home Deals For Improved Security System
Internet destinations firm Excite@Home Inc. announced Monday that it's Home Online Safety members program will integrate security technology from Web applications service provider McAfee.com Inc.Terms were not disclosed in the agreement between the Silicon Valley companies. However, Excite@Home will allow its home subscribers better security for their transactions made at the Web site, www.excite.com. Members of the site also will get a free trial of McAfee.com's Personal Firewall or Clinic e-security customer programs.
