Excite Debuts Consumer Purchasing Solution
To make online shopping easier for consumers, search engine, Excite (www.excite.com), Redwood City, CA, introduced an e-commerce purchasing solution called Excite Express Order. Consumers have to enter their billing information only once and will be able to use it repeatedly to buy merchandise with participating Excite retailers.Consumers can register with Excite Express Order by filling out a form with their preferred billing, shipping and credit card information when they make a purchase. Excite then personalizes its front page for members so that news, local weather and television listings appear when they bring up Excite's home page. Currently, it is available in Excite's Holiday Shoppe at www.excite.com.
