Marketing solutions provider Exchange Applications, Boston, and its client firm INVESCO Funds Group have won the "Best Data Warehouse Application" award from the Data Warehouse Institute for the second consecutive year.

Judges gave INVESCO, a mutual funds company, high marks for demonstrating a solid return on its investment in Exchange Applications' ValEX marketing automation system and marketing data mart.

According to Exchange Applications, ValEX lets companies execute campaigns that manage customer behavior across customer lifecycles and understand how to allocate marketing dollars across market segments that present the greatest potential value.

In 1997, Exchange Applications won the award for its work with Federal Express.
