Euro RSCG, an agency specializing in integrated consumer health and wellness, has named Katie Rogin as its managing director of strategic planning.
WPP Group's branding and identity, healthcare and specialist communications division reported full-year 2011 like-for-like revenue growth of 6.9% to $10 billion, the holding company said Mar. 1. The unit, which includes direct, digital and interactive marketing agencies, also reported a slight like-for-like revenue decline in the fourth quarter. Havas, which also reported 2011 financials on Mar. 1, said revenue increased 5.6% organically to $2.1 billion, compared with the prior year.
Third-quarter revenue for Paris-based holding company Havas ticked up by 5% year-over-year to $543.3 million, the company reported on Oct. 26.
Euro RSCG Worldwide added a New York office to its data-centric agency network Euro RSCG Discovery. The Havas-owned agency launched Euro RSCG Discovery New York during the first week of October, said Matt Blasco, managing director of Euro RSCG Discovery New York.
Havas' first-quarter 2011 revenue increased 9.7% to $530 million, compared with the previous year, the company said April 27 in an earnings statement. The holding company, which owns and operates Euro RSCG and Arnold Worldwide, among other agencies, saw $563 million in net new business in Q1, a drop of 33% compared with the first quarter of 2010.
Euro RSCG 4D Discovery, an analytics, behavioral marketing and CRM agency network, has acquired Internet marketing and interactive design shop Congruent Media. Terms of the deal, announced August 23, were not disclosed.
