Euro RSCG Worldwide Integrates Operations

Euro RSCG Worldwide combined its 11 subsidiary companies in North America into two agencies providing marketing expertise across several communication channels, the company said yesterday.

The firm created two new agencies, Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners and Euro RSCG Tatham Partners, each with its own management organization. Euro said it wanted to create two agencies able to provide clients with integrated services in all sales channels.

The two new agencies will be organized around the Euro subsidiaries Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer (MVBMS) and McConnaughy Tatham, two of the biggest brands in the Euro RSCG network. Some of the other subsidiaries, including direct marketing agency Devon Direct and DRTV agency Tyee Euro, will provide services to both of the newly formed agencies.

"It's going to give my team the opportunity to bring our direct marketing competencies to a wider array of clients," said Ron Greene, CEO and president of Devon Direct.

MVBMS Partners is based in New York and will maintain offices in San Francisco; Berwyn, PA; Westport and Wilton, CT; Boston; Washington; Mineola, NY; Amsterdam; London and Paris. Its clients include Barnes&Noble.com, Intel, Nestle, Reuters, Schering-Plough, Volvo and others in categories including fashion, financial services, technology and health sciences.

Tatham Partners is based in Chicago and has offices in Atlanta; Portland, OR; San Diego and Salt Lake City. Clients include Air France, Alberto-Culver, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Bowflex, Carrier, ConAgra, Infocus, Intel, Philips, Red Lobster, Tropicana, Walgreens and Wilson Sporting Goods.

Both agencies will provide clients with advertising, direct marketing, DRTV, management consulting and public relations services. In addition, MVBMS Partners will provide database management and Hispanic marketing while Tatham Partners will provide interactive marketing and sales promotions.
