Euro RSCG Boosts German DM Presence
Havas Advertising's Euro RSCG Worldwide unit has bought Frankfurt-based Dorfer Relationship Communications, Germany's eighth-largest marketing services agency.The acquisition strengthens Euro RSCG marketing services in Germany's growing direct marketing business, complementing the efforts of Euro RSCG Kremer Forster, Dusseldorf. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded and run by Manfred Dorfer, his self-named agency specializes in customer relationship management, marketing services and database management. Major clients of Dorfer include American Express, DHL, Tiscali, Visa International and Biotherm.
According to the Direct Marketing Association, Euro RSCG Marketing Services is the world's largest marketing services agency. The division has 75 agencies in 35 countries. Clients are LVMH Louis Vuitton, Volvo, Intel Corp., Danone Group, Air France, WorldCom and Reckitt Benckiser.
