EUniverse and Sony Music Entertainment Form Alliance
EUniverse, Los Angeles, and Sony Music Entertainment, yesterday announced the formation of a marketing alliance for SME's new media holdings. SME and eUniverse have entered into a customer acquisition campaign for several Web sites in the SME New Technology and Business Development area. SME has also provided $3 million in debt financing to eUniverse in exchange for warrants to buy the company's stock.
EUniverse will make use of e-mail campaigns, opt-in and banner ads on its network to promote and sign up its users to SME online properties such as Emazing and InfoBeat.
