E*Trade, Ernst & Young to Form E-Services Venture

E*Trade Group Inc., Menlo Park, CA, and Ernst & Young LLP, New York, yesterday signed a letter of intent to invest $25 million each to form an electronic financial services venture.


The new company will offer E*Trade customers advice on buying a home, tax/estate issues, children's education and retirement planning.
