Essentus Offering New CRM Application
The service lets salespeople enter customer orders, check on returns, verify inventory and review customer history within a secure interface.
The application provides users with the ability to track customer buying trends, including back orders, open orders and orders invoiced. Information is less prone to error because it is only entered once, according to the company.
Sportif USA, an outdoor clothing manufacturer, is beta-testing Essentus 1.0.
"We were spending too much time and money on re-entering sales orders," said John Kirsch, president of Sportif. "With Essentus CRM, our sales representatives now have the same visibility as our inhouse customer service people."
Essentus, New York, built its 1.0 application using Oracle's Web-To-Go, which frees the client from maintaining multiple versions of software.
