Equifax Q4 Earnings Climb 14%

Equifax Inc., Atlanta, reported fourth-quarter 2005 revenue of $361.3 million last week, up 10 percent over the same quarter in 2004.


Earnings from continuing operations rose 14 percent to $63 million in the quarter over the previous year.


Revenue increased 13 percent for the full year 2005 to $1.4 billion. For the entire year of 2005 compared with 2004:


· Cash flow from operations rose 9 percent to $338 million.


· Free cash flow increased 12 percent to $292 million.


· Consolidated operating margin was 29 percent, down from 30 percent.


· The North America segment reported revenue up 13 percent to $1.2 billion.


· North America Information Services revenue climbed 14 percent to $806 million.


· Marketing Services revenue was up 7 percent to $254 million.


· Personal Solutions revenue grew 19 percent to $115 million.


· Europe revenue was flat at $142 million.


· Latin America revenue was up 38 percent to $127 million.
