Epsilon wins MyFamily.com e-mail work

Alliance Data Systems Corp.'s Epsilon has inked a multiyear agreement to offer integrated e-mail and marketing services to MyFamily.com Inc., an online network that connects families.

Epsilon, Irving, TX, will render services like e-mail marketing, integrated Web analytics and strategic consulting.

MyFamily.com has seven family-related sites, including http://www.ancestry.com/, http://www.ancestry.co.uk/, http://www.genealogy.com/, http://www.rootsweb.com/ and the eponymous http://www.myfamily.com/. The company also publishes Family Tree Maker, a family tree software, as well as Ancestry Magazine and books.

Based on the consumer data received from MyFamily.com, Epsilon will identify segments, develop e-mails and deploy those messages for upsell and cross sell. The e-mail campaigns will include newsletter mailings, transactional confirmations, promotions and welcomes.
