Epsilon Taps New Executive for European E-Mail Expansion

Epsilon Interactive said Ted Wham has joined the e-mail marketing services company as senior vice president and general manager of European operations.

Mr. Wham's will focus on the growing European e-mail marketing audience. The market for business-to-consumer e-mail services in Europe is expected to more than double over the next five years to $1.6 billion, according to Forrester Research.

Mr. Wham brings 20 years of experience in marketing to New York-based Epsilon Interactive, formerly known as Bigfoot Interactive. His most recent position was general manager for personalized content and communication at travel site Expedia Inc.

Before Expedia, Mr. Wham was the director of database marketing for Hotwire.com, where he doubled the share of overall transactions through e-mail marketing campaigns. He also held positions at Hewlett-Packard Co. and Viacom International.
