E.piphany Deal Spearheads Homedepot.com Redesign

E.piphany Inc., San Mateo, CA, has signed an agreement to implement its end-to-end suite of e-commerce software for The Home Depot Inc.

The announcement coincided with the redesign of Homedepot.com, which, according to the companies, will now have more sophisticated customer-monitoring features. The redesign will allow Homedepot.com to more accurately record viewing habits of its visitors, enabling the home improvement products firm to better target online shoppers with special offers at its site.

The Home Depot, Atlanta, is employing E.piphany's E.4 software package as a result of this agreement. The system gives its e-business users analysis of online sales as well as Web-based customer monitoring. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
