ePhysician to Market Wireless Devices to Doctors

ePhysician, a producer of wireless and hand-held devices for doctors, will market its products through eBioCare.com to physicians who specialize in rare disorders, the company announced this month.

eBioCare, an online specialty pharmacy catering to doctors who treat rare chronic conditions, has agreed to let ePhysician, Mountain View, CA, market the devices to physicians who are registered with the Web site, the company said.

The alliance was part of ePhysician's campaign to market products to specialty doctors, who have shown to be most interested in wireless and hand-held products such as the ePad, a prescription-writing tool, a company spokeswoman said. Through agreements such as the one with eBioCare, ePhysician is targeting doctors one specialty at a time, she said.
