Engage Expands Asian Presence

Engage Inc., Andover, MA, yesterday acquired Space Asia Media Limited, an independent Internet marketing network, in attempt to gain a strong hold in the rapidly growing Asian online marketing industry.


The Asian ad network has relationships with 270 Asian and Australian Web publishers including ZDNet Asia, Singapore Press Holdings, Asiastockwatch and Channelnewsasia. The company serves more than 140 million ad impressions monthly on these sites.


The Asian network will be integrated with the Engage Knowledge database, which consists of 70 million behavioral-based anonymous profiles.


Space Asia Media Limited employs 64 in Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul. It will operate alongside of Engage's existing operations in Japan and Australia. Space Asia Media Limited will function as a wholly owned subsidiary under the name Engage Asia.
