Engage Expands Ad Serving In Land of Rising Sun

Engage Inc. yesterday assumed a majority ownership of Engage Technologies Japan, a joint venture between Engage, Andover, MA and Sumitomo Corporation. Newly appointed president and CEO of Engage Technologies Japan, Naomi Tomita, will be in charge of expanding the company's ad serving services into the Japanese market. Tomita was formerly president and CEO of PictureTel Japan.


In a further effort to expand its Japanese presence, Engage this week acquired Interactive Solutions Inc., an online ad network owned by Sumitomo. The ad network has access to 55 different Websites, which average a delivery of roughly 25 million impressions per month.
