Enfatico, WPP's Dell agency, acquires ADPeople

Enfatico, formerly Davinci, the WPP agency that is being built to consolidate work for Dell, has acquired a majority stake of the issue-shared capital of Danish agency ADPeople. Terms were not disclosed.

According to the deal, Enfatico will specifically take control of ADPeople's subsidiary operations in Denmark called SoftwarePeople and Graphic People and SoftwarePeople in Bangladesh, which together form the ASG Group.

AdPeople is focused on international customer service and creative combined with IT systems and design studio services.

“They do a lot of work for Dell and it made sense to bring them into the company,” said a spokesperson for Enfatico, who declined to be named.

The spokesperson also claimed that “cutting edge facilities” and “cost efficiencies” offered by the ASG Group led to the deal.

The ASG Group is being acquired from PeopleGroup Holdings (part of the Wibroe, Duckert & Partners Group) and management. ASG employs 160 people in its offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and Dhaka, Bangladesh.

According to WPP, ASG Group's unaudited consolidated revenues as of 31 December 2007 were $34 million, with gross assets of $9.5 million at that date.

"As we build a new kind of integrated marketing organization, we are actively exploiting analytics-based decision making and the global efficiencies made possible by today's technology," stated Torrence Boone, CEO of Enfatico, in a press release.
