Emeril to Sell Wares on Shop at Home

Scripps Network announced a deal yesterday with Emeril Lagasse, the Food Network's star chef, to sell kitchen wares on three special shows on the Shop at Home network in July, September and November.

Scripps, which owns both the Food Network and Shop at Home, plans to cross-promote Lagasse's shows on both networks and at Foodnetwork.com. Lagasse's products also will be available at "Emeril mini-stores" on shopathometv.com and Foodnetwork.com.

The Lagasse deal is part of a larger movement to shift branded merchandise on its networks, which also include HGTV, DIY and Fine Living, onto the Shop at Home Web site, Scripps said.
