E-marketing Strategies strategizes with Silverpop e-mail

Agency E-marketing Strategies tapped Silverpop to provide e-mail marketing services like analyzing campaign results to its clients.

Dallas-based E-marketing Strategies uses the platform to help its marketing efforts for nonprofit Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, located just outside the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The firms wanted to incorporate dynamic content and event-driven lifecycle marketing to create more sophisticated e-mail marketing programs.

"They had a successful yet limited e-mail newsletter program with only a few thousand subscribers," said Mona Belcher, president of E-marketing Strategies. "The agency wanted to help increase its subscriber database and convert subscribers into park visitors."

Fossil Rim introduced personalized and interactive welcome messages for its e-mail newsletter subscribers, including a promotion to receive $5 off of entry into the park.

The nonprofit nature preserve doubled its opt-in list using the platform created by Silverpop, Atlanta. The park currently has 9,000 subscribers, but Ms. Belcher said that she expects the number to grow to 10,000 by March 2007. Open rates regularly hit 80 percent and click-through rates are as high as 70 percent.

Ms. Belcher said that E-marketing Strategies is using the Silverpop platform for both for-profit and nonprofit businesses.

"E-mail is a very effective tool and we are trying to teach our clients how to send out e-mail newsletters and e-flyers," she said.
