DMNews seeking Essential Guide to E-mail columns

DMNews is seeking submissions for the 2009 Essential Guide to E-Mail Marketing, which will be published on October 26.

Against the backdrop of the current recession, e-mail has only become more prominent. With the advent of newer technologies and tactics such as social and mobile media integration, it is a pivotal time for e-mail marketers. In this Essential Guide, DMNews will showcase the latest trends in e-mail marketing through expert opinion, original articles and real-life examples of campaigns in action. Despite its popularity, e-mail marketers face many challenges, so we will take a look at those as well — from the ever-vexing issues of deliverability and spam to rising above the din of the inbox.

Experts from all areas of the direct marketing world are invited to share their knowledge, case studies, trends, tips, best practices and forecasts with DMNews' readership. We will accept submissions at various levels of expertise and understanding.

To be a part of the Essential Guide, e-mail your 450-word article (the piece must be right around 450 words or it will not be considered) to Carol Krol at features@dmnews.com, by September 9. The submissions must be submitted as a Microsoft Word attachment and include the author's name, title and e-mail address. In addition, please attach a high-resolution color headshot.
