Delivered: Airline Emails

What's in our mailbox this month: airline emails.

Ireland in the off-season—who wouldn't want to avoid the crowds? And off-season promotional may offer more savings. Best of all, Aer Lingus' “fares now include all taxes and fees.”

Alitalia's no-nonsense approach of listing round-trip airfare to various destinations in Italy is fairly bland. Recipients may miss the “Business Class cabins" photo if they fail to scroll down.

Traveling with small children has its challenges, but JetBlue's kid-friendly vacation email offer may be too good to ignore—“Kids fly free. Stay free” are magic words to any parent.

United Airlines' patriotic “Plan your Memorial Day weekend getaway" message does little to incent recipients to make reservations to a historic destination or a warn-weather locale.

Check out what else has been hitting our mailboxes: b-to-b direct mailers; 6-by-9-inch direct mail; targeted consumer emails; music and performance series in New York.
