Baby SuperMall taps Bronto for e-mail marketing services

E-commerce baby product store Baby SuperMall LLC has turned to e-mail marketing firm Bronto Software to power its e-mail marketing program.

Baby SuperMall uses e-mail marketing communications to increase brand recognition among consumers and to generate a greater return from the leads generated through search engine marketing and pay-per-click advertising. It joins other Bronto Software, Durham, NC, clients such as Lending Tree, JPMorgan Chase Vastera and Duke University.

"We realized e-mail marketing was the ideal solution to address all of our needs and concerns, but we didn't want to take on the task of writing an e-mail campaign system ourselves," said David Suby, vice president of information technology at Baby SuperMall. "With Bronto, we were able to get up and running within a couple of weeks as compared to a couple of months writing an in-house system."

Baby SuperMall is also using Bronto's re-mailing tactic, repurposing the same message content with a fresh subject line to users who did not open the original e-mail. This tactic helped the retailer double its e-commerce sales revenue.

Baby SuperMall is also now using Bronto's metrics and reporting tools to send segmented e-mails and to clean its list.
