Electro-Voice Hires Synapsys for New ZX4 Speaker

Electro-Voice, the professional audio brand of manufacturer Telex Communications Inc., hired The Synapsys Group, Denver, to handle online advertising for its new ZX4 molded polypropylene, portable loudspeaker.

The agency, which is owned by Brozena Ripley & Partners Inc., will introduce the ZX4 to amateur and garage music bands, disc jockeys, performers and music fans. The targeted audience is online.

Synapsys' theme for the campaign is "Exercise Dominance -- More Control for You -- More Pleasure for Them." It is a pun on the speaker's touted easy handling and better acoustics.

This is Electro-Voice's first online marketing campaign.
