Edocs, Net Perceptions Combine Marketing Solutions

Edocs, Natick, MA, Thursday said it formed a partnership with marketing software provider Net Perceptions, Eden Prairie, MN, to sell each other's products.


The agreement will make it easier for e-commerce companies and others who use online billing, such as telecommunications and financial services firms, to combine the personalization capabilities of both companies' solutions to develop more personalized marketing messages in their electronic bill statements.


Edocs provides Internet-based billing solutions.


Marketers who use edocs' MarketWorks, a rules-based, bill-personalization solution, will be able to add Net Perceptions' collaborative filtering and recommendation capabilities, which synthesize observations of customers' real-time and past behaviors.
