Edcos to Support Siebel Software
Edcos, a provider of Internet billing, said yesterday that it will support Siebel eCommunications 2000.3 and Siebel eEnergy 2000.3, software designed for the communications and energy industries.The software allows companies to coordinate customer touch points including the Web, call center, field organization and distribution channels.
As a Siebel Software Partner, edcos will integrate edcos eaSuite with Siebel eBusiness Applications to help call center agents and customers view combined data through a single application to reduce confusion over bill inquiries, account adjustments and online bill payment.
"Siebel Systems has more than doubled its presence in the communications and energy industries over the past year," said Jim Moran, executive vice president at edcos Inc. "Siebel eCommunications and Siebel eEnergy ... will enable our customers to expand the power of online account management in edcos' eaSuite."
Telstra, Sprint, TXU, Edison International, Nstar and American Express use edcos' eaSuite.
