EBillit Goes With Neale-May, Stephenz
The agency will target decision-makers at prospect companies to promote eBillit, San Jose, CA, as a key player in the online payments space. Internet service providers and online content providers are a special focus.
Four agencies were interviewed for the PR business. San Francisco PR shop Artemia was the incumbent. For the marketing side, two small and three mid-sized agencies were asked to pitch. Neale-May and Stephenz were selected for their experience on business-to-business accounts.
Neale-May will reach decision-makers through editorial coverage of eBillit in technology, marketing, vertical and regional trade publications. Stephenz will handle branding, Web site redevelopment, product naming, company renaming, and strategy and tactical help.
Don Teague, vice president of sales and marketing at eBillit, said his company does not want to be a typical credit card processor.
"We accomplish this mission through a host of revenue optimization and back-office efficiencies," he said.
