EBay Offers Online Trading Through Netpliance

EBay, San Jose, CA, said yesterday it will provide exclusive online trading services through Netpliance Inc.'s "i-opener" device which directly accesses the Internet.


New York-based Netpliance will manufacture its i-opener with an eBay hotkey that will directly link to eBay's Web auction site.


The i-opener is a desktop hybrid that allows users to access e-mail and the Internet.
