eBay Looking to Add Shipping Service

In an interview with Reuters Meg Whitman, eBay chief executive, said that within one to two years eBay would have an agreement with a shipping company to handle the increasing amount of international shipping that is being transacted through the online auction site.

"It's an area of opportunity for the company," Whitman told Reuters. "The buying that is being transacted on eBay is now so large that we have the mass to go to UPS or FedEx and try to get a deal that would be beneficial to out community."
