Early Count Indicates Win for infoUSA Board Incumbents

Database services provider infoUSA today re-elected sitting directors Vinod Gupta, George Haddix and Vasant Raval at the company's annual shareholder meeting.

The directors will serve on the infoUSA board through the Omaha, NE, company's 2009 annual shareholder meeting.

An early vote count indicates that infoUSA defeated a proposal from Institutional Shareholder Services, a corporate governance advocate. Institutional Shareholder also failed to place its own nominees on the infoUSA board.

Before the polls closed, the proxy cards were handed to an independent inspector of elections, IVS Associates Inc., for the final tabulation and certification.

The final results are expected in seven to 10 business days.
