E-talk Donates Call Center Technology to Cancer Society

E-talk Corp., Irving, TX, yesterday said it donated its Performance System applications to the American Cancer Society to use in its Austin, TX, national contact centers.

The provider of contact center management technology said the organization would use a recording application to allow managers to monitor agents' phone behavior, an instructional application to facilitate agent training and a recruiting tool to help the call center screen job applicants.

In addition, e-talk, formerly called Teknekron Infoswitch, will provide ongoing maintenance and staff training for the group's toll-free number, which accepts calls for donations and provides medical information and doctor referrals.
