E-mail Address Provider Changes Name to yesmail.com

SAN FRANCISCO -- WebPromote, Chicago, yesterday formally announced it

has changed its name to yesmail.com.

The company also unveiled the YesMail Permission Email Network, a

turnkey e-mail campaign delivery and tracking service.

"We've sunk a lot of money into technology, and that's one of the main

advantages we offer," said recently appointed CEO Dave Tolmie. Among

the firm's offerings is the ability to track segments of various e-mail lists against one another to see which are performing, said Tolmie.

Through partnerships with a variety of e-mail list owners and managers, the company claims to offer access to some 5.5 million opt-in e-mail addresses.

Among the company's partners are NetCreations, ALC Interactive and IDG

List Services.
