Dynamics Direct Upgrades Surefire Delivery to Support Windows XP

Dynamics Direct Inc. has upgraded its Surefire Delivery rich media e-mail delivery technology to version 3.0 and now offers support for Microsoft's Windows XP operating system, the company said yesterday.

The service is compatible with Microsoft's Outlook XP e-mail client.

Surefire Delivery uses Macromedia Corp.'s Flash technology to deliver rich media e-mails. The e-mail campaigns are optimized for the recipients e-mail software, connection speed and operating system.

The Los Angeles-based company in August introduced a "campaign performance guarantee" program that it said "guarantees that a Dynamics Direct rich media e-mail campaign will enjoy double the response rate, as measured by click-through, compared to a text or HTML control group." The guarantee applies to retention or house-list campaigns only, the company said.
