Dunhill partners with DIY e-mail service

Dunhill International List Co. has announced a new alliance with self-serve e-mail marketing platform CityTwist.

Dunhill clients will now have access to a private label version of the CityTwist application. Don Morris, marketing director at Dunhill, said that he anticipates the partnership will provide services to existing clients and attract new customers to the 70-year-old list firm.

“We had a number of clients who did not like the large minimum requirements on other e-mail lists,” said Morris. “They will benefit from [CityTwist's] no-minimum system.”

The CityTwist application has a database of about 250 million opt-in e-mail addresses, selectable by gender and geography. The company has plans to add more demographic selects, Morris added.

CityTwist launched in January. Morris said that founder Lou Nobile worked with the Dunhill family on past projects.
