Dun & Bradstreet to Acquire iMarket Inc.

Dun & Bradstreet, Murray Hill, NJ, has agreed to acquire iMarket Inc., a privately held provider of business-to-business sales and marketing solutions for small and midsize businesses. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition aims to strengthen D&B's ability to provide marketing solutions to small and midsize businesses and enhances its proprietary database. IMarket CEO Willard Reynolds will remain with the operation, leading the D&B iMarket team.

D&B has been affiliated with iMarket since 1991, when D&B began providing data to fuel the iMarket solutions. D&B acquired a minority interest in the company in 1996. IMarket has more than 12,000 active customers across the United States and about 90 employees based in its Waltham, MA, headquarters.
