Draftfcb hires Coughlin as first global CMO, EVP

Draftfcb has named Debra Coughlin its first global CMO and EVP, effective March 14.

Coughlin is leading the agency's global capabilities team, overseeing the development and promotion of agency tools and proprietary technology. She is based in New York and reports directly to Laurence Boschetto, CEO of Draftfcb.

“My primary goal will be to work with the team and our regional and local marketing leadership to ensure that Draftfcb's fully integrated model continues to thrive worldwide, with a primary emphasis on nine key strategic hub markets,” she said, via e-mail.

Coughlin previously worked as CMO and EVP for Citi Cards and EVP for branding and advertising at Citi NA's consumer brand since 2007. Prior to Citi, she worked as SVP of global brand building at MasterCard, senior partner and management director at JWT, and SVP and global group director at Young & Rubicam
