Draft New York's Shelley Lanman Passes Away

Shelley Lanman, chief creative officer of Draft New York, passed away May 25. She was 51.

Ms. Lanman was a much-celebrated copywriter, having won numerous Caples, Echo, Addy, Art Directors Club, M.C. Icon and Clio awards.

She held the top creative post at Draft New York for four years. She served at Ammirati Puris Lintas before joining Draft and spent 11 years at Ogilvy & Mather before those two jobs. She was a graduate of Brown University.

Ms. Lanman also donated her time to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society near her home in White Plains, NY.

She passed away of colon cancer. Her husband, Jonathan, and three teenage sons, Adam, Ben and Nate, survive her.
