DoubleDay Books Goodmail for Certified E-mail

Book retailer Doubleday Entertainment has enrolled In Goodmail Systems' Charter Sender Program for e-mail.

The Garden City, NY-based e-commerce and direct mail bookseller will use Goodmail , Mountain View, CA , to certify its volume e-mail communications and consumer recipients.

Doubleday Entertainment has 7 million members and 35 book clubs like Doubleday Book Club, Literary Guild, Book of the Month Club and special interest and lifestyle clubs like One Spirit and Black Expressions.

The Charter Sender Program lets qualifying volume senders who sign up by Sept. 30, 2006 to send free, unlimited CertifiedEmail for three months.

After the Charter Sending promotion ends, the cost to send CertifiedEmail is one-quarter a penny per message.
