DoubleClick Signs Intuit for Web Analytics

Intuit signed on to use DoubleClick's SiteAdvance Web analytics product for TurboTax.com, DoubleClick said yesterday.

DoubleClick, New York, now has 35 clients using SiteAdvance, a hosted Web analytics solution it debuted in June 2002. Clients include Buy.com, Crate and Barrel, and Verio. SiteAdvance competes with analytics offerings from established analytics companies NetIQ and WebSideStory.

SiteAdvance lets a business get a better idea of how customers interact with its Web site, tracking site behavior, conversions and the performance of marketing programs.

DoubleClick integrated SiteAdvance with two of its other marketing technology products, DARTmail and DART for Advertisers. The integration lets a client see how its e-mail and online ad campaigns translate into site traffic. Intuit also uses DARTmail.

Last quarter, DoubleClick reported that 24 percent use more than one of its online ad technology products, up from 21 percent the previous quarter.
