DoubleClick CFO Steps Down

DoubleClick Inc. said yesterday that chief financial officer Stephen Collins will step down Aug. 10.

Bruce Dalziel, previously the company's vice president of finance and operations for its technology, data and research business, will become acting chief financial officer until a replacement is found.

The company said Collins will remain as a consultant through March and will work on "certain strategic initiatives." He will report directly to Kevin Ryan, DoubleClick's CEO.

Collins said in a statement that he plans to concentrate on other duties within the company.

"My new role in the company will allow me to focus on other priorities, including my family," he said.

Collins, who has been with the company since it was founded five years ago, was one of its first 50 employees.
