Donnelley Debuts Opt-Out Monitor

Donnelley Marketing yesterday introduced infoConnect Privacy Protector, a Web-based solution for companies to monitor customer opt-outs.

The product can benefit "anyone that is very concerned about contacting prospects or customers who have already opted out through one way or another," said Michael Morreale, chief operating officer of Donnelley Marketing, Omaha, NE, an infoUSA company.

The infoConnect Privacy Protector lets marketers send their databases to Donnelley over the Internet so opt-outs can be flagged. Then, companies can see which customers have opted out and through which channels. The product is especially useful for organizations with multichannel efforts and decentralized selling units, Morreale said.
