Do-it-yourself customer data integration hubs: the advantages and disadvantages

Today, Customer Data Integration (CDI) initiatives are an integral step in most Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementations. CDI allows companies to obtain a single, consistent and updatable 360ยบ view of customer information across multiple, overlapping data sources. This paper explores the pros and cons of using a do-it-yourself CDI hub verses a third-party, full-service approach.
