DMX Music Launches In-Store Axis

DMX Music, Los Angeles, this week announced the availability of DMX Axis, a new digital audio and video delivery system. Axis will combine the power of the Internet, the latest IBM software platforms and critical retailer input. According to DMX, Axis will help to change the way retailers communicate with and attract customers.

The delivery system will give retailers of all sizes the ability to create a tailored musical environment that is developed and fine-tuned by DMX Music programmers to the location's specific marketing and branding needs. The plug-and-play Axis receiver arrives preloaded with hundreds of hours of music, and new music titles and playlists are sent automatically via a dial-up modem connection via the Internet from the DMX Music digital technology center.
