DMI Co-op Attendees Get Free Web Analyses

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- Attendees of yesterday's 2005 Direct Media Mailer Conference and Co-op were offered free consultations and Web site analyses through the firm's partnership with The Worx Group.

In the consultations, the mailers' Web sites were evaluated in seven areas: design, usability, content, download speed, search engine optimization, compatibility and links.

Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, began offering Web site "checkups" Sept. 30 in conjunction with The Worx Group, Prospect, CT, an online marketing and Web development firm.

Response to the offer was favorable, said Ed Bocknik, executive vice president of DMI eCommerce Services Group.

"Sixteen clients signed up to be evaluated so we had to schedule a few for after the co-op," he said.

The Web site analyses took place yesterday and today at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel and Conference Center.
