DMFA Names Ferruzzi President

The Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association yesterday announced its selection of Linda Ferruzzi as its new president.


Ferruzzi is a senior account executive at fundraising direct marketing agency May Development Services, a division of Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT.


She has been in fundraising for more than 20 years at companies including Walter Karl, The Oram Group and AZ Marketing, serving clients such as Father Flanagan's Girls and Boys Home, Thirteen -- WNET, Orbis International and MSPCA.


DMAF is an organization for direct response fundraisers. It has more than 350 members.


"I am deeply honored to be selected for this position," Ferruzzi said in a statement. "With the board of directors and membership of DMFA, I hope to expand our efforts at professional education and advocacy for the nonprofit community in the year ahead."


Ferruzzi previously served as DMFA vice president for one year and as a board member for several.
