DMA to Combine Net.Marketing, AIM Shows

NEW YORK -- The Direct Marketing Association's net.marketing and Association for Interactive Media conferences will be combined into one annual show, AIM announced at @d:tech New York.

Now called the DMA/AIM net.marketing conference and exhibition, the show will be May 7-8 at the New York Hilton and Towers. The show, originally scheduled to be in Las Vegas, was moved to New York because of the combined efforts with AIM "and most of the clients would be in New York and, therefore, it's less travel for them," said Christina Duffney, director of corporate communications at the DMA.

A lack of attendance forced organizers to cancel this fall's net.marketing show, which was scheduled to be in Denver.
